As Bishop Edverard built the Cathederal at Norfolk, England.
Refuged to France in 1139 and built(1139-1147) the Abbey and Church at Fontennay, near Montbard, Cote-D'Or.
The Abbey was of the Cistercian order founded by St. Bernard in 1118 and consecrated by Pope Eugene III, 21 September 1147.
Everards tombstone is in the choir of the Abbey Church.
